Compliance gathered on Birthday of Vladimir Lenin

22 April 2017, Moscow hosted the 3rd annual bowling tournament among compliance teams in 26 credit organizations, government agencies and corporations – Compliance Bowling Battle (CBB-2017).

22 April 2017, Moscow hosted the 3rd annual bowling tournament among compliance teams in 26 credit organizations, government agencies and corporations – Compliance Bowling Battle (CBB-2017).

Its organizers - the National council for financial markets (NSFR) supported by Interfax, Interfax – Dun & Bradstreet, and KPMG - agreed that the skills of the participants for the year increased significantly. The average result of the teams made up of 350 points.

Rostelecom was the winner of the tournament by a wide margin. The 2nd place went to the team of Transcapitalbank, Rosfinmonitoring (the winner of last year tournament) was the 3rd.

Sergey Khorev from URALSIB Bank was named as “the most efficient player”. Alexandra Stebenkova from B&N Bank was recognized as "the most charismatic player", and Svetlana Yakusheva from AlfaBank was observed in "the best shot".

The team of compliance professionals of FC Otkrytie received the special prize "for will to victory", X5 Retail Group was awarded as "the most technically advanced team", and the status of "the most active, creative and energetic team" has been earned by RosEvroBank.

The organizers are unable to ignore well-prepared participants that had several workouts before. The special prize in the nomination "We will win" went to Renaissance Credit Bank.

"Your job requires daily victories. Very nice that it applies to work and sport," the NCFM Chairman Andrey Emelin said, referring to the players.

"Compliance brought together professionals representing financial and non-financial institutions in our NCFM peer group for AML/CFT internal control and regulatory risk. It has also become the headline for the event giving a chance of informal check of the qualities, needed in wrestling and work", - said at the closing ceremony the Deputy head of NCFM Alexander Naumov.

In turn, Anton Klyudt, leader of the Interfax project X– Compliance, stressed that during the battle "people of a serious profession, the compliance officers, proved that they could also be masters of bowling games".

"Each team has played their game. But all together you are one big team", - said the first Deputy Director of the Interfax Group Vladimir Gerasimov.

"Compliance is relatively recently established as a word in the Russian language. However, compliance is already a great community. We are very grateful to all partners and participants for the wonderful holiday, which was able to unite all the community," – said General Director of Interfax – Dun & Bradstreet Olga Rink.

All participants agreed that this kind of meetings in an informal setting are useful and of a demand.
